DEEP IN SIGHT (CEO Eun-Song Oh), a company specializing in AI 3D camera solutions, announced on the 22nd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sangmyung University's SW-Centered University Project Group (Director Jun-Ho Jang) for a joint education program and the development of skilled professionals focused on the commercialization of on-device AI technology.
The signing ceremony, held at Sangmyung University’s Mirae Centennial Hall, was attended by DEEP IN SIGHT CEO Eun-Song Oh, Director Jun-Ho Jang of the SW-Centered University Project Group, and other key representatives from both organizations.
Through this agreement, the two parties will actively collaborate on several initiatives, including:
-Joint education programs and the cultivation of skilled professionals for the commercialization of on-device AI technology
-Research and development (R&D) and joint business ventures to advance on-device AI technology
-Mutual support for a network of experts in the AI field
DEEP IN SIGHT is an AI-based 3D camera solution startup that has developed an In-Cabin Monitoring Solution (ICMS) for vehicle interior and driver state monitoring, a technology that has caught the attention of global automakers. In May, the company garnered significant attention from domestic and international OEMs & Tier 1 suppliers by unveiling its proprietary ICMS solution, CAMOSYS, and its Face Recognition Unit (FRU) for secure vehicle access through facial recognition at the InCabin event in Detroit, USA.
Notably, the FRU solution is applied across all models of a global OEM’s electric vehicle lineup.
